Our story started with love, literally. Marcus was in Dallas for his sister’s wedding when we matched online. We talked nonstop, and two months later finally met in Mexico (much less sketchy after hours of daily FaceTimes). We were both nervous, but it felt instantly right and we knew long distance was worth it. For a year and a half we flew between Dallas and Florida, never ending a trip without booking the next. Those months built rock solid communication and confirmed what we already felt: effortless, steady, meant to be. Eventually Marcus moved to Dallas, and life with our two wild Malinois, camping adventures, music, and plenty of good food (her cooking, his eating) became our rhythm. In April 2025, on a quiet camping trip surrounded by nature and our pups, Marcus pulled off a complete surprise proposal. Now we are getting married, blending our lives, and building our future, still amazed we found each other.
