What started as a simple connection quickly became something neither of us could ignore. From the beginning, our relationship was filled with laughter, comfort, and a natural ease that made being together feel effortless. We first met while working at Kohl’s. For two years, we were coworkers and friends. Kim worked picking online orders and would often ask for help finding items as an excuse to talk… even when they were right in front of her. We laugh about it now, but those small moments meant more than we knew at the time. When Kim left the job at Kohl’s, it felt like the end of a chapter—but life had other plans. We stayed in touch, found our way back to one another, and soon after, began dating. From that moment on, we chose to grow together through every high and low, always talking about the future and building a life rooted in love and partnership. On our five-year anniversary, Kim proposed during a gondola ride in Venice, Italy—a moment that felt straight out of a movie and one we’ll cherish forever. With our shared love for travel, a destination wedding felt like the perfect way to celebrate—not just one day, but an entire weekend with our closest friends and family, sharing a small piece of the life and adventures we love so much.
