Keagan and Kylie's story begins in 2021 during their freshman year of college when they were introduced to each other through mutual friends. Although they did not jump straight into a relationship, they quickly became close friends and their connection with one another was clear. On April 10th, 2022, Keagan finally asked Kylie to be his girlfriend. The strength of their relationship was proven very early on when Kylie's mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and Keagan was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in the same year. During this time Kylie and Keagan stayed by each other's side relying on God for strength. Over the course of the next several months, they dated long distance while Keagan received treatment and Kylie returned to school. This season of life proved that their relationship was something that was going to last. Over the past three years, Kylie and Keagan's relationship has flourished as they have seen and supported one another through the highs and lows of life. They have become a member of one another's families through celebrating holidays and vacations together. When asked how Kylie knew Keagan was "the one," she said it was because he loved her the same way her dad loved her mom. While we all know Keagan isn't as expressive, the love he has for Kylie has always been clear through his words and actions. On March 2nd, 2025, Kylie began her day with church and brunch with her sister, friends, and Keagan's parents. Keagan had told her they had double date plans with their friends afterward. She was dropped off at Pawnee Prairie Park where Keagan was waiting with the engagement ring hidden in his boot (Kylie said she immediately checked his pockets for a ring box when she got out of the car). After the proposal and a few pictures, Keagan brought Kylie back to their apartment where friends and family were waiting to surprise and celebrate them! Now, Kylie and Keagan are so excited to begin the next chapter of their lives! They are grateful for all the people who have encouraged and supported their relationship along the way and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
