Our Story

We met our freshman year of high school through a mutual friend, and we became close friends towards the end of 2018. While on Thanksgiving break of our sophomore year, November 18th, Justin asked me to be his girlfriend. From this point on we became inseparable, we spent the rest of that school year attached at the hip. Fast forwarding to August 2019, our junior year we started off that school year just the same, except this time we would literally be attached at the hip. Completely unplanned but I wasn’t complaining, we received our class schedules just to realize we had every… single… class together. Skipping ahead just a little further to March of 2020, we were forced into lockdown along with the rest of the world. In May we got our first 4-legged baby, Libby, my Covid puppy. Unfortunately, when August came, we prepared to start our senior year but covid put a halt on this as well. We once again were given our class schedules with every… single… class together, unplanned of course. Justin and I, along with my two younger siblings took over my parents’ home and office and continued our online school journey. In March of 2021 Justin was accepted into DBU and I decided I would join him on his journey to Dallas. May of 2021, we graduated High School together, and in July we took a leap and moved to a tiny 600 sq ft studio apartment right in the heart of Arlington. If you know us, you may know that Dallas was a rough year for the 2 of us. One good thing to come from Dallas was our second 4-legged baby, Temari (Mari), who brought joy to a time when we needed it. We had faced quite a few bumps in the road in Dallas and the following July we booked it back home. Shortly after celebrating our 4-year anniversary we moved into a much roomier apartment in Conroe where we’ve been since. This is where we welcomed our FINAL 4-legged baby, Ollie (Weenie boy), who has been a terrorist since we brought him home. And on December 20th, 2024 Justin asked me to marry him, I was in complete shock and so beyond excited to finally be able to marry my best friend. As I sit here writing this I have an overwhelming feeling of love for our story, we both have been through so much and stood side by side for it all, we’ve suffered crushing loses of family members while also welcoming new ones. We learned, changed, and have grown so much together since 15, we learned to drive together, graduated, moved out at 18, suffered heartbreak, made sacrifices, started new jobs, moved to new cities, taken trips, and so much more. We’ve shared so much laughter, a few tears, lots of food, and plenty of love over the last 6 years and can’t wait to start our next chapter as Husband and Wife.
