Kylie and J.R. first became acquainted at the University of North Texas through Greek Week, where Kylie’s sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, was paired with J.R.’s fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order. They remained in touch throughout college through various Greek life events. They both graduated and began pursuing their careers in Dallas, Texas. J.R. had always admired Kylie and felt the Lord placed it on his heart to reach out and pursue her. Kylie kept a busy schedule and after a number of attempts J.R.’s persistence finally paid off and they had their first date at R+D Kitchen. After that date and an answered prayer, they began seeing each other regularly. One month later, they made it official and began calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Fast forward five years later, the Lord has blessed Kylie and J.R. with a blossoming relationship. They both place a high priority on their faith and allow God's hand to guide them through the seasons of their lives.
