We're getting married!

Jay and Kylie were set up on a blind date by mutual friends in May of 2021 at Stony Creek Brewery. After many hours spent together, Jay put his number into Kylie's phone. Jay was living in Newport and Kylie was in her second year of PT school at Sacred Heart. Despite the distance, Jay drove 2 hours to bring Kylie on their first real date where they hit it off. This led to them spending the rest of the summer together. That summer was full of many long drives to visit one another and a lot of time spent on the boats in Branford. Kylie then went on her clinical rotations in St. Louis and Salt Lake City, but despite this distance, their connection remained strong. They spent many nights on facetime for movie nights and Jay made sure to visit Kylie for long weekends when he could. Once Kylie graduated PT school, she moved to CT, while Jay moved a bit closer from RI. After a year of living in a "medium distance" relationship, they moved in together in Branford. In the winter of 2024, they drove to PA to get their 8 week old pup Millie. Together, they enjoy many long walks, runs, and movie marathons. In October of 2024, Jay proposed to Kylie at the Madison Beach Hotel. After a nice celebratory lunch, Kylie surprised Jay with his 30th birthday party the same day! We are so excited to be getting married and celebrate with all our loved ones in September of 2026!
