We originally first met at his cousin's birthday party; however, we were both only two years old so not sure that even counts! We did reconnect several years later when my mom was hired as his parent's realtor to sell their home and I went with her one day to his house to pick up some paperwork. Not long after that we started snapping each other and eventually became friends; he later enrolled into the same school I attended and he asked me to go with him to the homecoming dance and a few months later he asked me to be his girlfriend! We have been pretty much inseparable since then and have been growing up together these last (almost) 5 years and now we get to spend the rest of our lives growing old together! Moral of the story get you a good realtor that can connect you to homes and your forever love!!

The proposal happened on our annual family beach vacation with both of our families! Jake planned to have our families set up the proposal on the beach while he and I went to eat at a nice seafood restaurant. While we were enjoying dinner both of our families were working hard as a mini assembly line putting together the marquee letters, lights, rose petals and heart shaped candles on the beach so he could propose to me at sunset. It was so beautiful and I was in shock! I mean I knew it was coming but I wasn't expecting he would propose on our family beach trip! He actually surprised me and he did an amazing job on my proposal. Both of our families deserve a big shout out for all that they did to make my proposal so amazing!
