We met at the University of Notre Dame in 2021 but—like many couples whose relationships began during the pandemic—needed the help of a dating app to do so. We quickly learned that there had been plenty of missed chances to meet in-person: a shared Biology seminar, a Glee Club concert at my dorm in which Gabe sang U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" (fitting), and even a party my friends wandered into one evening that happened to be hosted by Gabe's roommates. After our respective graduations in 2022 (mine in the Spring and Kylie's in the Fall), we reunited in Charlottesville, VA, where I am wrapping up my fourth year of medical school at the University of Virginia. We've greatly enjoyed small town living in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the heart of East Coast wine country. Soon, residency may take us to a new city, and so our wedding falls at the turning point between two life chapters. We cannot wait to be surrounded by our family and friends, celebrating this milestone and the beginning of our life together as The Ramoses.
