Collecting shoes is my favorite pastime. Anything Nike will put a smile on my face. I've been bitten by the travel bug and want to explore the world. Places I've traveled to in 2019 are South Korea, Japan and Hawaii. Travel the world, eat lots of food and enjoy the simple things in life; things I believe everyone should do.

I am Emils older brother, although at times I usually feel and look like the younger one. I’ve witnessed my brother evolve from a troublesome kid to a grown responsible man, the responsible grown man part of him started happening around 2010 when he first met Kylie. Since meeting her, she has helped develop him into a better person, although that’s the same time his hairline started to disappear (not sure if that’s a coincidence). Either way I’m happy that my brother has found some to make him happy.

I first met Emil at the start of a very long summer. It was back in the days where we’d all have our cars, meet up at a timmies and post up with lawn chairs and a bag of seeds. Believe it or not first thing I ask him wasn’t his name or what car he drove but for 2 bucks to buy my coffee as I left my wallet in my car. Without hesitation he said “ I got you, what do you drink triple triple?” With a slight giggle. Who knew that that interaction would lead us to where we are now. Throughout the years we were together in various car groups, sports teams, college and even into our professional careers.

Nick and Emil have been friends for over a decade. Together they celebrated the Raptors championship (and a Lebron championship), participated in multiple Terry Fox Runs, cooked and served at the Fort York food bank, and relaxed chez cottage Murray. There was a recent argument amongst the groomsmen as to which year at the cottage was the best and after much deliberation, we settled on a three-way tie. Nick is honoured and excited to have been chosen to be part of the wedding party of such an awesome couple in Kylie and Emil. Professionally, Nick is a Sales Process Manager at the Herjavec Group, Inc., a cybersecurity firm, and President of the Toronto Twilight Rotary Club, an organization that tackles community and international charitable initiatives. Arman and Emil first met at a cottage and have grown to be like brothers - bonding over child/pet walks to the island and signing a memorable deal at the same cottage years later. There’s no challenge that Emil shies away from, whether it’s moving an entire apartment with a pickup truck till 2am or eating a whole pizza then running a half marathon. He always keep my pop culture in check and a constant motivating pillar that makes me run way more than nature intended me to (still waiting to start that challenge we’ve been putting off; Viking pending…) I’m expecting nothing less than Emil initiating a jog around the venue before hitting the dance floor!
