I was out for lunch with my coworkers at a Mexican restaurant near my work. In walks a very cute guy with his stepmom. Next thing I know Dylan and I are staring at each other from across the room, multiple times I may add. When my friends and I left, I told my friend Stephanie that I thought that guy in the restaurant was cute. Dylan just so happened to leave at the same time as us. Since I don't have normal (QUIET) friends, they yell across the parking lot "Hey, are you single? Our friend thinks you are hot, you should get her number". I was beet red in my car, but over walks Dylan. Embarassed, I opened my window to talk to him. Blushing, he asked for my name and my number, we talked every single day after. I met his son a few months later and knew these were my people. We started dating on my birthday, February 28th, 2021. We got engaged in Boone in June of 2025. Dylan planned a weekend getaway, he booked a tiny home knowing I have always wanted to stay in one. On Saturday, we went on a 2-mile long walk/hike. On the way back, we started walking down a very large hill. Dylan asked me to slow down, I said "I can't this hill is steep, I will see you at the bottom". He then asked me again to stop and slow down, and again I ignored him. He then said sternly "Kylie, I need you to stop". When I turned around, he was getting down on one knee and proposing.
