Question

What can I expect?

Answer

Never in a million years did we expect to be planning a wedding during a pandemic. Although we have changed plans more times than we can count and it may not be what we originally envisioned, we have done everything our power to make it work. Because of the brewery's restrictions due to COVID-19, we opted to have a smaller ceremony at the hotel with just our bridal party and families. The "reception" will be held outside at Workhorse Brewing Company. The set up will have a food truck festival mixed with tailgate vibe.

Question

What can I expect? Continued..

Answer

PROVIDED: - unlimited brick oven pizza -Vesta BBQ meal - cupcakes - 6 beers on draft (beer truck) - bottled water & canned soda - 10-11 tents with one table under each (seats 6) - bluetooth speaker music (local ordinance prohibits DJ outside) OPTIONAL: - extra chairs - Koozie, tumbler, etc. - lawn games - personal wine/liquor (only if you have a gluten allergy, this it not permitted otherwise) REQUIRED: - masks when not seated or social distanced

Question

How will I know if there are any changes to the event due to COVID-19?

Answer

Any changes will be posted to the COVID-19 page of this website. PLEASE CHECK BACK FREQUENTLY UP UNTIL THE DAY OF THE WEDDING! Also, when you RSVP, please submit your email address so that you receive any potential emails regarding a date change, weather cancellation, etc.

Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Guests may begin arriving at Workhorse Brewing Company at 12:30pm. However, the bridal party, along with the Bride & Groom will not arrive until around 1:30pm.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel & brewery?

Answer

Yes... and no. There will NOT be a shuttle prior to the wedding from the hotel to the venue. However, there WILL be a shuttle after the wedding from the brewery to the hotel. Please visit the "transportation" page for more information.

Question

What's for dinner? (...lunch)

Answer

The Pizza Wagon will serve brick oven pizza from 12:30-2:30. There will be 6 different options available. But PLEASE don’t fill up too much because Vesta BBQ will serve a full BBQ meal of Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Red Skin Potato Salad, Mac and Cheese, Mexican Street Corn Salad, Ceasar Salad from 2:00-3:30pm. Originally this was going to be a buffet, however, we have opted for the mobile service which will allow guests to order individual platters similar to a food truck service.

Question

What will there be to drink?

Answer

Of course water and soda will be available, along with Workhorse Brewing Company beer. Please make sure to indicate your preference of beer when you RSVP to help us decide which 6 beers to select! Visit https://www.workhorsebrewing.com/ for more information of specific beer options. Also, there will possibly be some type of alcoholic slushie available.

Question

Will there will be dancing?

Answer

There will be no dance floor or DJ, just blue tooth speaker music. This has turned into more of a food truck festival/tailgate atmosphere, so if you would dance at either of those events, go for it!
