It all began thanks to a crazy mutual friend who insisted we had to meet. So we agreed to brunch at The Engine Room—because if you’re going on a blind date, it might as well be over good food (and maybe a mimosa or two). What we expected to be a quick meal turned into hours of laughing, bar hopping, and realizing that something special was happening. From the start, everything just felt easy. We bonded over our love of traveling, finding the best restaurants, and especially being out on the water. Since boating became such a big part of our life together, Dan chose the perfect spot to propose: on his boat at Fishers Island, our favorite place! Now we’re thrilled to celebrate with all the people who’ve cheered us on from that very first brunch date to this exciting new chapter. We can’t wait for what comes next!
