While the Hilton Head Island and Savannah airports are the closest options, you could also consider the Charleston Airport which is a two hour drive from Hilton Head Island.

The Westin is a beautiful ocean front resort located on the north end of the island. It holds a special place in our hearts as this is where we got engaged! Located 25 minutes from both the wedding venue and welcome party venue. The room block is available from Wednesday, June 1st - Monday, June 6th. Reservations must be made by May 6th, 2022. This ocean front resort is located mid-island in Palmetto Dunes. It is just a short drive away from Shelter Cove Marina and Towne Center which both have great shops and restaurants. Located 35 minutes from the wedding venue and 25 minutes from the welcome party venue. The room block is available from Thursday, June 3rd - Sunday, June 5th. Reservations must be made by April 15, 2022. Please be advised that there is a daily resort fee of $25+tax. Rate: $429+tax/night

The Courtyard is a limited service Marriott hotel located right in the heart of the lively South End of Hilton Head. This hotel opened in April 2020 and features a rooftop pool and bar. It is right next to Coligny Plaza with many shops and restaurants and just 0.3 miles to the popular Coligny Beach access. Located 25 minutes from the wedding venue and less than 15 minutes from the welcome party venue. The room block is available Thursday, June 2nd - Monday, June 6th. Reservations must be made by May 2, 2022. Rate: $299+tax/night

The Hampton Inn is located on the north end of Hilton Head, right off of the main road Business 278, within driving distance to various restaurants/shops and beach accesses. Located 20 minutes from the wedding location and 20 minutes from the welcome party location. The room block is available from Friday, June 3rd - Sunday, June 5th. Reservations must be made by May 13th, 2022. Rate: $169+tax/night

There are tons of individual vacation homes and condos on the island which can be rented through www.airbnb.com or www.vrbo.com. Look for South Forest Beach, Sea Pines, Shelter Cove, or Palmetto Dunes for some of the best locations on the island. Book near Old Town Bluffton (off the island) to experience this charming small town where we now live and be less than 15 minutes from the wedding venue (30 minutes from welcome party venue). Please be advised that Bluffton is across the bridge from Hilton Head and you will have to drive to the island for beach access.

You can't go wrong with any of the eight Marriott Vacation Club properties on the island (we may be slightly biased!). These timeshare resorts offer two bedroom, two bathroom villas that can be rented through Marriott.com or via Redweek if you will be staying for a longer period of time. These book up quickly, so make sure to start your planning early if you are interested in one of these properties!
