We met when Chris was hired on as another dispatcher at Steven's Tanker Division. Chris walked into the office and I heard him come in, so I stood up and said "Oh hey!, I don't know you!" Chris- "Okay." Kylie- "AS IN WHO ARE YOU?!?" After months and months of screaming at each other in the dispatch office because Chris is "never wrong", we ended up working a night shift together where we became best friends. A few conversations and one "liquid courage kiss" from Kylie's 23rd birthday led us to where we are today. We have been inseparable since!

We had already been planning the wedding. We knew the date, had hired our officiant, booked a venue and a photographer but Chris still hadn't "officially" proposed. I was rushing through the house trying to get myself, the boys and food ready for Thanksgiving. I came around the corner and Chris asked me if I had everything. I said "yes" but was still looking for my James Avery ring that he got me for Christmas the year before (I wore it everyday). Chris told me, "Here have this one instead" and pulled out my engagement ring. I told him "Ummm, it's a no unless you get on one knee". He obliged, got on one knee and asked again. We were in the living room of their house with the kids. It was perfect and totally us! I was shocked that he proposed on Thanksgiving because I just KNEW that he was going to propose on Christmas day.

Through all of the good times and bad, our love for one another has helped us push forward and get through every obstacle we have been faced with. God definitely knew what he was doing when he put us in each other's lives. We are so excited to officially start our lives together as a family, and Kylie can't wait to officially become Chris' wife and Colton and Parker's stepmom!
