Are kids invited?

Answer

Absolutely! Our kids will be there and very much involved.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding will be festive casual! Ladies should wear dresses and gentlemen can wear slacks or shorts and a fun button up. But feel free to have fun with bright colors, fun prints and ties. We are going to be in the Keys after all!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The average temperature is in the mid to high 70s! So bring your bathing suit, sun block, and be ready to enjoy the amazing Florida sun!

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are lucky enough to have everything we need for our new life together, so we registered here on Zola and are asking for cash to go towards helping fund our wedding and kicking off our married life with our honeymoon! However, if you would like to purchase something more traditional, we are registered for a few items on Amazon.

Will the ceremony/reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. While the weather will be warm, we will be on the beach, so please dress accordingly with layers as it may get cooler into the evening.

Is there a room block at Hawks Cay Resort?

Answer

Yes! We will have a mixture of 2 and 3 bedroom villas as well as hotel rooms. These blocks will be held until 60 days prior to the wedding. The weekend before is a holiday weekend and is already booking up, so we definitely recommend booking as soon as you can!

How do we book rooms at Hawks Cay?

Answer

There are two ways! You can visit http://www.hawkscay.com and reserve accommodations this way. You must identify yourself as part of a group by inserting the following group code: LOOPERSTEPHENS. You can also call 888.395.5539 and identify yourself as part of our wedding group block by giving the reservation agent the same code. Room block discounts are honored Monday February 21st through Tuesday February 22nd, as well as 3 days post wedding based on availability at time of reservation. So book early!

I see there is a resort fee at Hawks Cay - what does that include?

Answer

Great question! Hawks Cay has so many amenities, which is one of the reasons we chose to have our wedding here! The resort fee includes: -Self-parking -Wireless internet -Tram transportation throughout the resort -Complimentary access to Hawks Cay Health Club and Coral Cay (splash pad for the kids!) -In Room Coffee (Hotel only, villas not included) -Local and toll free calls -Unlimited use of putting course, sports field, hard and clay court tennis facilities -Unlimited use of kayaks and paddleboards in the Hawks Cay Saltwater Lagoon

Do we have to stay at Hawks Cay Resort?

Answer

Of course not! We know everyone’s budget is different and understand not everyone may be able to afford staying on site. However, their prices are pretty competitive for the area so keep that in mind! If you would like to stay at a Hilton Hotel, please reach out and we can set you up with a Friends & Family discount. They have options in Miami (1.5 hour drive from Hawks Cay), Key Largo, Key West and other areas!

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on a budget. Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate those addressed on your invitation.

The invitation is only addressed to one person in our household but the save the date was sent to everyone. Who is invited?

Answer

We had an error in printing envelopes, oops! Whoever was included on the save the date is also included with the formal invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out!

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! It is #KylieTakesaChance - so please use this with the pictures you post so we can easily find them and go back and enjoy the day from your perspectives!

Can I take pictures and tag them of social media?

Answer

Absolutely! Our only ask is that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony so our photographer can capture the moments without interference. Otherwise, take all the pictures you want and remember to use our hashtag #KylieTakesaChance

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be cocktails followed by a reception. If you aren’t done celebrating with us, we are having an after party at a near by restaurant on site as well to continue the festivities!
