Our story began in October of 2023 at Homecoming in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. We didn’t attend together Cash was visiting from Carlsbad, and I was from Cloudcroft but even then, God was quietly at work, weaving our paths together across distance and timing. What started as a simple crossing of paths would later become something far greater than we could have imagined. Our first real date didn’t come until March, when I invited Cash to my cheer competition something completely out of character for me, even as a three-sport varsity athlete, since cheer was brand new to me and something I decided to try during my final semester of senior year. From that moment on, our connection grew naturally, grounded in laughter, support, and friendship. I knew Cash was the one during church camp in June of 2024. As we shared our testimonies and spent time growing in our faith together, he helped strengthen my relationship with God in ways I never imagined. In December of 2024, we learned we were expecting our beautiful daughter, Presley, with her arrival due in July of 2025. While the news came with moments of fear and uncertainty, prayer, church, and the love of our friends and family helped us see her for what she truly is, a blessing we would never change. Through every challenge, our faith deepened, and our love for one another grew stronger. Today, our greatest joy is our family. We love staying active, watching sports, being outdoors, and most of all, spending time together as we watch Presley’s sweet personality shine brighter each day. After celebrating Christmas on the Pecos in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Cash proposed surrounded by family and friends. Under glowing Christmas lights (our favorite holiday).I was completely surprised. It was a perfect reminder that God’s timing is always intentional, and we are so grateful to begin this next chapter together, guided by faith, love, and grace. “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
