$100 AUD is equal to approximately 1 million rupiah. Everyone is a millionaire in Bali! The largest bank note is 100,000 IDR ($10 AUD) so prepare for your wallets to be full! Exchange rates are much better in Bali than here in Australia, so take some cash over with you and get it exchanged there. Stick to the money changers occupying an actual shop front on a main road. We will link some here later, but always good to check your cash before you leave the shop just incase. Most major credit and debit cards are widely accepted throughout Bali, however Apple Pay is not readily available.

1. WhatsApp. Easiest way to make restaurant/venue reservations. 2. Gojek Basically Bali’s version of Uber/Uber Eats but you have the option to pay your driver cash. Extremely cheap and saves bartering with local taxis. Can order cars or ride on the back of a scooter to get around a little faster. 3. GRAB Another transport app / alternative to Gojek.
