The ceremony starts at 4pm. We ask that guests do not arrive prior to 3:30pm as the bridal party and couple will be taking photos on site.
Both the ceremony and reception are held at Barn at Trinity Peak (N80W38726 McMahon Rd, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). There will be a cocktail hour after the ceremony that will also be held at Barn at Trinity Peak.
The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The dinner and reception will be held inside the barn.
We have blocks of rooms reserved at two hotels -- TownePlace Suites and Hilton Garden Inn both off of 94 on Summit Ave. They're about 15 minutes away from the venue. Please see the "Travel" page and follow the link to book your hotel. The group rate ends 30 days prior to wedding (June 19), so make sure to book your room early. There are also a lot of other weddings and events in the area, so they will fill up fast. Note: There is NOT a shuttle service between the hotels and the venue.
Please wear cocktail attire. We suggest wearing a suit, dress shirt with a tie, a cocktail dress, a midi- or tea-length dress, or a nice pantsuit. No jeans or T-shirts please.
We will be having brats and burgers in typical midwestern fashion. There will be a place on the RSVP to specify dietary concerns and we will do our best to accommodate them. More information on this to come.
The parking lot by the barn is reserved for guests requiring more accessible parking. All other guests should park at Ewald Park Soccer Fields with entrances off of McMahon Rd. There is a free shuttle provided from the soccer fields to the barn or guests can choose to walk the 0.5 mile up the road. You are also welcome to drop passengers off at the barn and return to the parking lot at the soccer fields.
Please visit the RSVP tab on this website. Type in your name to view your invite and respond. If your invite is not coming up, it might be because it is under your full name or a nickname. This will also be where you can see if you have a +1.
Please RSVP by May 8th so we can send final numbers to our caterer.
Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we're only inviting our closest loved ones. Please check the names on your invitation/RSVP (once they are sent out) to see who is invited.
There is no shuttle service between the hotel and venue/reception. There is parking less than a half mile from the venue. There will be a shuttle that transports guests from that parking lot up the hill to the venue.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to give a gift as well, a cash gift towards our first home or our honeymoon would be most appreciated. There will be a spot for cards inside the barn, you can contribute online by visiting the "Registry" tab, or send a card in the mail. Contact the couple or a family member for our address.
The bride and groom respectfully ask that everyone be prepared to turn off all electronic devices and refrain from taking pictures or video throughout the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer and videographer who will be capturing the day and the footage will be available to you afterward. Feel free to use your phones/cameras after the ceremony to snap photos during cocktail hour and the reception.
View the "Things To Do" tab for activities in the surrounding area. There's hiking, shopping, golfing or mini-golfing, kayaking, an escape room, the zoo, and much more!
We will be having a picnic get together at Ottawa Lake on Saturday afternoon from 11am-4pm so that we have a chance to talk with everyone. Feel free to stop by Shelter C at any point during that time. We will be providing sandwiches and outdoor games. There is also a swimming beach, fishing piers, beach volleyball, restrooms, and picnic tables. Since Ottawa Lake is part of Kettle Moraine State Forest, there is a $13-16 fee per car to enter the park if you do not have a Wisconsin State Park pass. We are asking that you also RSVP to this event so we know how many sandwiches to order.
There will be complimentary beer and wine available during cocktail hour. Once the beer and wine run out, there will be a cash bar for the remainder of the night. There are also no drinks allowed on the dance floor, so please leave your drinks at your table.
Barn at Trinity Peak holds a class B liquor license, so no outside alcoholic beverages are allowed.
If your invitation is addressed to the family, then kids are welcome!
