The John Glenn Astronomy Park is dedicated to sparking an interest in science, learning, and exploration by sharing with visitors the wonders of the sky, both day and night. Inspired by our vanishing night sky, JGAP is one of the few areas left in the state of Ohio where the night sky can be seen in its near pristine state. Please be considerate to others when driving in after dark and turn your high beams down and once you have parked, please turn off your headlights right away. These precautions help keep the observation field dark.
