a few weeks earlier, kylie had suggested planning date nights every other month. kylie planned april and come may it was ben's turn. little did kylie know, ben had already been planning to propose so this idea of a "date night" that he had to plan was amazing. they had been on several dates to saugatuck dunes state park previously - whether to hammock or just hangout. all day long, ben couldn't stop talking about how he was excited to feel lake michigan so after hiking out to the beach, he suggested they go and put their feet in the water. kylie thought he was taking an extremely long time to take his shoes off and when she turned around, he was down on one knee. she of course said yes & was greeted by family and friends with champagne to celebrate them! they went out for dinner and then had an engagement party with all their friends. it truly was the best day & ben thought of everything!
