Maid of Honor
In Mary Low, on the trails, and in the locker room something became abundantly clear we shared similar goofiness, loyalty, and smiles and we're always full of cheer. From injury tear sessions to the best cross country wins having you by my side has always led to grins. So thanks for being my Maid of Honor I know this much is true I've always been very lucky to get to look up to you.
Best Man
Joe slept on John’s couch during his cross country recruiting overnight at Bates and a long-lived friendship grew from there. Beyond many miles logged together, the two share a morbid fascination with north-London based soccer teams. Joe is a beloved stalwart of John and Kylie’s friend group in New York. It is rare for a weekend to go by without them spending time together and there is no person in NYC (except for Kylie) that John is closer with. If you see Joe at the wedding, ask him about his personal ranking of now defunct bars in NYC.

On my first day of Colby you greeted me with enthusiasm and smiles you took me on an Arboretum run the beginning of many miles. With our adult community in New York we're still the closest we can be from weekly drinks, chats and workout classes to escapes for a good ski. Now I've stood by your side and you'll stand by mine too. Monbon, I am the happiest kid to have a friend like you.
Best Man
Tom and John met at Bates in 2011 and it soon became clear that beyond a love of English soccer (come on Wigan) that they would become close friends. From running for Bates to Northeastern’s MSA/MBA program, and working for PwC, the volume of shared experiences is staggering. More than that, Tom is an incredibly thoughtful friend who has pushed John to be the best version of himself, even as he humiliates John in FIFA on a regular basis. If you see Tom at the wedding, he stands ready to provide a detailed breakdown of the dynamics of The English Football League Championship and Football League One.

On the first day you met Johnny you welcomed him into our crew greeting him with laughter and force feeding him fudge too. My road trip co-pilot we've traveled far and wide listening to podcasts, eating weird food and always taking things in stride. So thanks for the adventures - skiing, hiking, and many a run I'm trusting you to bring the games and make this day most fun.
Groomsman
John met Zach on their first day at Bates College in 2011. The two Mass. high school runners logged several thousand miles together over four years while Zach tutored John through an economics degree. By their senior year, they were co-captains of the cross-country team and shared the collective highs and lows that came with the season. Throughout college, during their time together in NYC, and today Zach has been a caring and supportive friend. If you see Zach at the wedding ask him about “the Fed” and their good times at Bates.

Ninja turtle costumes, Passion Pit, and Freeport Good times began your freshman year Then two years later, hanging from a bunk bed you greeted Johnny with a cheer. Easily a facetime catch up away, You always show up for moments big and small, Birthdays, housewarming, and engagement parties You've been in my corner through it all. Thanks for sharing my goofy humor And for the nickname Kyles Halifer, Love you buddy Keep on bringing the smiles.

Noah was John’s mentor throughout his first three years at Bates. The workouts, races, FIFA games, hours doing homework (or not doing homework), and debating topics big and small were formative to John’s Bate’s experience. While he never figured out how to get past Noah’s kick in the last 200 meters of a race, John wouldn’t be who he is today without Noah’s passion, leadership, and eccentricity. If you see Noah at the wedding he can regal you with any number of dumb things that John has done.

In a car ride to Vermont I once posed a question to you when the time came would you be in my crew? Though long distance friends for quite some time now we've stayed very close through vacations in pow. I call you a childhood friend and I know you do as well Lizzy, I'll try and keep up let's party like hell.

John and JVB first bonded in the Fall of 2013 when the two of them watched football during John’s first trip to Rye. Over the past 7 years, they’ve watched many Penn State, Giants, and Patriots games together. John has even become a tacit Giants fan, supporting Jack during this trying time. The soon to be brothers have grown close over a love of sports and a general confusion with Kylie’s obsession with tennis. If you see Jack at the wedding ask him any sports question or for a tip on your golf game.

We don't often know the moments in life that matter the most the lefts or the rights the misses or toasts. But when I met you I know my path changed my life going forward was forever rearranged. So thanks for recruiting me to Colby And for the intro to my hubby-to-be Happy to have you in my corner My Captain, Morgy.
Groomsman
John has known Sam ever since Sam invited himself into John’s life in 1995. John and Sam grew up together and have often found each other as worthy debate partners on topics both meaningful and (often) semantical. Kylie and Sam have bonded over good Mexican food, a love of wine, and goofing on John. If you see Sam at the wedding ask him how it feels to be taller and have better hair than the groom.
Bridesman
Besties since middle school is quite a long time and lucky for me you're still my partner in crime. From pre-teen runners to travel buddies galore you're the one with the sarcastic jokes I always adore. So thanks for dealing with months of me calling you brides boy Sebby, having you by my side brings me so much joy.
Groomsman
Brian and John met at the FASB, where they were roommates and quickly good friends, bonding over video games, a deep passion for insurance accounting, and "It's Always Sunny". After Norwalk, they spent a month backpacking through South America (and didn’t kill each other or Trent). They have both went on to live in NYC and can be found talking shop or about the Dawgs. If you see Brian at the wedding ask him about what assumptions to unlock, how to Pretzel, or where to get a great Hefeweizen.
Officiant
On the way to running camp back in high school I sat with a Carmel runner who was pretty cool. Flash forward to college we're Vermont bus buddies again being dorky with our campers and quickly becoming best friends. From the US Open to Portland we've had laughs far and wide, Soph, there's no one else we could imagine wanting by our side. If you see Sophie at the wedding, ask her what she thinks of Jeff Bezos.
