How we met...

"She showed up on my doorstep."

When asked how we met, Kyler loves to tell people that I "showed up on his doorstep" however, its not quite that simple. Yes, I technically met Kyler at his apartment through a mutual friend, but he didn't even talk to me. So does that count as meeting? Kyler and I got to know each other through CrossFit. I never pictured myself as the kind of girl to meet my husband at a gym but hey, it just "worked out."

The Proposal

ONE True Love...

Kyler asked me to marry him on Thursday, December 14th, 2017. He told me earlier in the week that we were taking family pictures at the family-owned campground in Nephi. We pulled into the campground that night and we were the only two there. I got kind of suspicious and thought Kyler was pranking me. We got out of the car and there was a trail of lit lanterns on the ground and that's when I had my first thought. We were not taking family pictures.... We continued walking down the path and the campground stage lit up suddenly with white Christmas lights framing pictures of Kyler and I. There were flowers and a large chalkboard sign reading "Will you marry Me?" I turned around after freaking out and Kyler was on one knee. He reminded me of how he said he would only love one girl. When he told me he loved me in August it was because he knew he wanted to marry me. He then proceeded to tell me how much he loved me and all that mushy-gushy love stuff that brought me to tears. I SAID YES, kissed him and continued to freak out! Being instantly engaged is such a crazy feeling. Kyler and I are the perfect match if I do say so myself. It's still crazy to think that this is the beginning of our life together...
