I (Claire) moved to the US from Uganda in 2015 for my degree at Vanguard University of Southern California. While there, I met Kyler's younger brother who introduced me to the incredible Kennedy family. Kyler and I officially met on Easter 2016, and we bonded over the fact that he had been to Uganda before and loved it. When I graduated in 2017, we became good friends. We spent more time together and got to know each other more. Kyler asked me out, and the rest is history. Our love has been mostly long distance, but it's taken us all over the world...from California, Portugal, Finland, and Uganda. And for that, we are grateful! We got engaged in August 2019, and in January 2021, we had our amazing African traditional ceremony. Now we finally get to have our official wedding! God has been with us from day one, and He is the reason we are here today. We see His fingerprints in our love story...from how we met, and everything in between! We are so excited to see what He has in store for our future!
