Washington State Ferry

Guests may drive to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal (approximately a two-hour drive from Seattle). From there, board the Washington State Ferry to Friday Harbor! Reservations are strongly recommended for guest driving on. Summer booking opens APRIL 14TH @ 10am. 30% of standard vehicle reservations will be released to book for on April 14th for all summer sailing dates. This will be the best date to book reservations! After opening day more reservations will be become available at each 2 weeks & 2 days before preferred sailing date @ 7am. Please plan to arrive at the ferry terminal at least 45–60 minutes prior to your sailing. The ferry ride offers beautiful scenic views of the islands and arrives directly in the heart of Friday Harbor. Be on the lookout for whales, eagles, seals and more!

Flight

Kenmore Air

Guests may also travel by air directly to Friday Harbor for a faster and more scenic journey. Kenmore Air offers both seaplane and wheel-plane flights: Seaplane flights depart from Lake Union in downtown Seattle and land in the Friday Harbor Marina. Wheel-plane flights depart from Boeing Field (BFI)—a short transfer from Sea-Tac Airport—and arrive at the Friday Harbor Airport.

By Airporter Shuttle and Ferry

For those who prefer not to drive, the Bellair Airporter Shuttle provides comfortable, direct service from Sea-Tac Airport to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal. Schedules and reservations are available at airporter.com. The shuttle coordinates with many ferry departure times for a smooth connection to the islands.
