Is there a dress code?

Dress Code: Texas Hill Country Formal Our wedding will take place atop a bluff in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, surrounded by rocky landscapes, wild grasses, and big skies. We’re asking guests to embrace a formal look with a light and airy twist — think springtime elegance. Dresses of any length welcome. Blazers/suit jackets; tie not required. Spring/floral color palette suggested, but choose whatever suits your fancy (except white!). Please keep in mind the terrain is gravelly/rocky when selecting footwear. While the setting isn’t quite a garden party, it’s a uniquely Texan blend of elegance and natural beauty — and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you!

What should I know about the venue?

If GPS directs you to what appears to be a private residence, continue driving 1/4 mile. You will see our boulder with the Walden Retreats logo on the right side of the road.
