What if I'm running late to the boat?
Answer
If you're running late to the boat, please be aware that the boat will not wait. Boarding starts promptly at 5:00 PM and the boat will depart at 5:30 PM, without exceptions. To ensure you don't miss any part of the celebrations, please arrive on time.

How will I get around if I don't have a car?

Fort Lauderdale offers convenient transportation options to help you explore the area with ease during your stay. Circuit Shuttle: There’s a free shuttle service that operates around Fort Lauderdale. Simply download the "Ride Circuit" app to request a ride. The shuttle can take you to popular spots like Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale Beach, as well as local hotels, shops, and restaurants. Each ride can accommodate up to 5 passengers and may be shared with others outside your party. **For the welcome party, the Circuit Shuttle can take you directly across the street from Patio Bar and Pizza. Once you download the app, set your starting pick-up point as "Gallery ONE Hilton" and your destination as "Manny’s Ceramic Pro Touch" (The shuttle won't go over train tracks so it can drop you off here)—this will drop you off right across the street from the restaurant. Water Taxi: For a scenic option, you can hop on the water taxi, which picks up right behind our hotel. The hotel is stop #7 on the map, making it easy to explore the waterways and nearby attractions. Uber is always an option as well! These options will help you get around the city and enjoy all that Fort Lauderdale has to offer during your stay!

We'll set sail promptly at 5:30pm, traveling down the stunning Intracoastal Waterway, where you can soak in breathtaking views as the sun sets. Rest assured, we won't be venturing into the open ocean. If you're concerned about motion sickness, we've got you covered with some trusty Dramamine on board. So, get ready for a beautiful and smooth cruise into the sunset!

What should I wear?
Answer
Dress the part in attire that's equal parts nautical and nighttime chic. Gentlemen, think smart-casual with a touch of maritime flair - slacks, a stylish shirt, and boat shoes. Ladies, consider a cocktail dress or an elegant outfit paired with comfortable heels or flats. October tends to be on the warmer side in South Florida but it is highly recommended to bring a light jacket just incase. All indoor areas will be air conditioned.

What if I want to fly in early?

Kyle and I will be arriving at the hotel on Wednesday 10/2 and staying until Monday 10/7. We’d love for you to join us for as long as you wish! While the welcome party is on Friday and the wedding on Saturday, feel free to extend your stay to explore the beautiful beaches, local shopping, and fantastic restaurants nearby. Please note, additional nights outside of the room block are not covered in the room block pricing.

Absolutely, bring your bathing suit! The hotel features a beautiful pool, and the beach is less than a mile away—a quick 15-minute walk. Whether you’re planning to lounge by the pool or explore the sandy shores, don't forget SPF to enjoy the sun safely! :)
