FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 28th so we can finalize our arrangements. It’s imperative that we have a final guest count by then due to beach permitting requirements with Tillamook County (where Pacific City is located). Without a response by this date, we’ll have to assume you're unable to attend and mark you as a 'no'—and we’ll miss you!

Question

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

Since we’re celebrating in March, we can only cross our fingers and hope for some warmish weather and happy skies. That said, a little rain is considered good luck so we're not too worried either way! Were just excited to get married!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress in semi-formal to formal attire (dresses, suits, etc.), but keep in mind it may be chilly and breezy, especially on the beach. Layers are encouraged! Feel free to wear your best coats to the ceremony. Our reception will then be held inside where it will be warm and cozy.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be held our back on the beach of our families Airbnb! If you're staying in the neighborhood, we’d love for you to walk over if you're able! For those who need to drive, parking is available just outside the house. The reception will then be held at the Kiawanda Community Center, which is a quick 5 minute walk from our BNB. You may walk with us or drive on over. There will be ample parking there.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during this special part of the day. This way, everyone can be fully present, and our photographer will capture all the beautiful moments for us. After the ceremony, feel free to snap and share as many photos as you’d like during the reception.

Question

Will there be a reception?

Answer

Once we say our vows, we’ll head over to the Kiawanda Community center for a cozy celebration filled with dinner, speeches, drinks, and dancing the night away.

Question

Should we plan to bring anything with us?

Answer

If you’re planning to stay in Pacific City, we recommend picking up groceries, snacks, and beverages before you arrive. The local stores in town are quite small and prices tend to be much higher than in larger nearby towns. Stock up before you come for the best selection and savings!
