What is Beach Formal attire?

For Men… Shirt: Lightweight button-down shirt or linen dress shirt. Long-sleeves please! Pants: Dress pants or tailored linen trousers. No jeans or shorts please. Jacket (optional): Lightweight blazer or suit jacket in a breathable fabric like linen or cotton. Optional due to heat. Shoes: Loafers, boat shoes, or dress shoes that can withstand some moisture from the beach. No flip flops please! Tie: We prefer men to wear ties to keep it more formal. A slim, casual tie is suggested. Colors: Light neutrals like beige, khaki, light gray, or pastel tones. For Women… Dress: Maxi dress or a long, loose sundress in breathable fabric (linen, chiffon, cotton blends). Shoes: Wedges, block heels, or dressy flats. Avoid heels that sink into the grass. No flip flops please! Accessories: Statement earrings/jewelry, sunhat, a clutch or small bag. Colors: Soft pastels, floral prints, or coastal tones. Avoid dark or heavy fabrics.
