I am ecstatic to announce that my favorite flower has been born! This is a video of my very first time laying eyes on my sweet baby girl! I was in complete shock and it took me a few minutes to come back to my own body! I had rushed to the hospital over night from Seattle to Florida without a name finalized in my mind. But the minute I saw her It came to me.

On a Friday evening in sunny Florida

Weighing 6lbs 1oz and measuring 48cm long, Noey was delivered naturally with only one push!
How did I choose the name?
Noella was born a week and a half early but she was originally supposed to be born a few days before Christmas!
Christmas time is my favorite time of year. That feeling of warmth you get deep in your heart during the holidays is what I wanted to shine through Noella for the rest of her life. She is joy, rebirth, and love in human form! She is Noella!
Any Nicknames?
Yes!
I like to call her Noey (like Zoey with an N) for short!

Some may not know but many adoptive parents around the world breastfeed their children! This was always my goal after seeing our mother breast or combo feed all of us, but when my body did not respond to intervention. So I started researching! My hunt led me to connect with a local milk bank in Oregon where milk is donated, sterilized, and frozen to be sent out to mamas like me! My goal is now to combo feed. I am so deeply thankful for your contribution to help me keep Noey healthy and strong!
