It may have taken 5 or 6 times, but Kyleigh eventually realized that Jeremy was not there just to buy her drinks. From there, he was taken to the second level of acceptance, Addison. A few shared bowls of popcorn later, our little family was off and running... literally. After a few white lies and Kyleigh's inability to turn down a challenge, Jeremy signed us both up for a half marathon -- exactly 13.1 miles more than either of us ran in the past 5 years. Due to the morning snooze button, our nights were filled with runs together with Addi. This experience gave us a chance to talk and learn about each other. What we loved (food after runs), what we hated (hills), and what made each other tick. Here we are, less than a year from being in Kennebunkport with all of you to take that next step into the rest of our lives. It is impossible to detail where we have gone, or where we have been in the last four years, but we would not want to share this moment of our lives with any other group of people.
