Do I need 4-wheel drive to get to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place in the 4x4 drive-on area of the beach. A 4WD vehicle is required to drive directly onto the sand. If you don’t have one, we recommend carpooling with someone who does. There is a parking lot with parking passes available to purchase at the end of the paved road as you reach the sand roads. More specific directions will be shared as we get closer!

Parking will be on the beach in the 4x4 area near the ceremony location, or in the parking lots at the drive on beach access (with purchase of day long parking pass). More specific instructions will be shared as we get closer!

Where exactly is the ceremony?

Answer

We’ll be getting married on the beach in the 4x4 area near our rental house, which is between mile posts 16.5 and 17. The exact access point and directions will be provided closer to the date!

What should I wear?

Our wedding is beachy dressy casual / semi-formal. Think light, comfortable, and a little elevated: • Sundresses, flowy outfits, button-downs, polos, khakis • Sand-friendly shoes or barefoot • Please avoid jeans, t-shirts, or athletic wear • Neutral and soft colors are encouraged

Can I wear heels?

You can, but we don't recommend it unless you enjoy a challenge in the sand!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving a little before 5:00 PM so you have time to get settled before the ceremony begins.

Will dinner be provided?

Answer

Dinner is not formally hosted, but we’ll be heading to Captain George’s Seafood Buffet after photos and everyone is welcome to join us. Guests will be responsible for their own meal.
