We're Getting Married!

Our story began in the fall of 2016 at the University of Washington. It was the first day of fall quarter classes when we crossed paths with fate. We ended up sitting next to each other in our chemistry class not knowing who each of us were. On that first day of class, we were just two strangers sitting next to each other when I dropped my pencil and Luis picked it up for me. When our mutual friend, Sophia, introduced us, we recognized one another and realized we sat next to each other in the same chemistry class. We became study partners and remained friends throughout all our college years. Eventually in 2020, we both graduated from UW and we knew there was an undeniable connection between us that we could no longer ignore. And thats when our journey together began. Luis asked me to be his girlfriend on October 10th, 2020. Whether it was by having the same chemistry class, or by having a mutual friend at UW, God made sure that we would find each other. I never would have thought that the stranger who kindly picked up my pencil, on the very first day of classes freshman year, would end up being my future husband.
