The Future Heuett’s

We technically first met back in high school. Will was originally from Todd Beamer but came to Fife to play baseball, briefly. Not long after arriving, he headed back to Beamer, and like many teenage “almost stories,” we went our separate ways and didn’t talk again for years. Thanks to social media, we eventually found our way back to each other. When we finally met up again, it was at Five Mile Lake. What started as a simple walk turned into hours of nonstop talking, laughing, and realizing we had a lot more in common than we remembered. Afterward, we ended the night with a fire back at Will’s house before I headed home but somewhere during that long walk around the lake, we both felt it. This was something different. Something real. From that point on, we were pretty much inseparable. We spent every day together!Going on cute dates, hiking in the mountains, camping, fishing, and slowly meeting each others families and friends. In June of 2023, we made it official, and since then we’ve built a life together that once felt like a dream, including buying our first home. In June of 2025, during a camping trip down at the river, Will pulled off the ultimate surprise. While he was fishing and I was walking the dogs, his lure conveniently got snagged, giving him the perfect excuse to start talking. Little did I know, there was a ring in his pocket. He said all the things, got down on one knee, and asked the question that changed everything. And now, here we are, planning a wedding, still laughing, still adventuring, and getting ready to spend forever together!
