We first met at ULL’s freshman orientation in June 2019. While waiting in line to schedule classes, Kylee mentioned to Trae that she had a long drive home and was feeling worn out from a recent trip. Without hesitation, Trae offered her his spot in line, saving her from being the last one and making a memorable first impression. Fast forward to the end of sophomore year, Trae slid into Kylee’s DMs on Instagram. A few days later, we had our first date at a Lafayette favorite, Jet Coffee, and the rest is history.
