We’re getting married!

When we met, it was instant love and friendship. We met on a dating app and Justin thought i was a catfish who wanted all of his money. I thought Justin was the most beautiful person I’d ever seen. Our first date was at a pizza place and then a rooftop bar where Justin got cold and we had to run to my car to grab my purple raincoat i kept in the trunk for emergencies. Side note: I asked Justin out for a date and it was the best question I have ever asked. He is my best friend and soul mate.

This story is a bit embarrassing, but very sweet. I planned a trip for Justin and I to go to the mountains in Blue Ridge, Ga so we could stay in a cabin for the weekend. (We rented a cabin right on the creek so we could fish all day and night). The first day was absolutely wonderful and Justin caught a rainbow trout on his first or second cast (beginners luck because we didn’t get anything else the rest of the trip). Anyways, as the day turns to night, I decide to head inside because I’ve seen all the horror movies and I wasn’t about to be snatched by a skinwalker. A little while later Justin asks me to come outside because he sees something - excuse me sir no thank you - He finally convinces me to come outside and I walk out and he points to the trees across the creek. I thought it was a bear or some sort of wild animal, but it was really just a tree and as I turned back around he had gotten down on his knee to propose. My body was running on adrenaline and I was so terrified that something in the woods was going to get me that my body let out a very loud and strangely long fart. I thought he was on his knee to jokingly propose like he usually did, but he started crying and then I started crying and he asked me if I would marry him. Of course I said yes, but not before asking him if he was sure about 8 times. I wish he would have recorded it because it would have been hilarious and sweet to rewatch.
