It all started at Lincoln Electric in 2015. Jeff showed up for the first day of his engineering internship and met Kylee’s brother, Zak, sitting at the cubicle next to him. The two became fast friends and it wasn’t long before Zak started bringing Jeff around to the Kramer house, where Kylee was still in high school. Kylee was quickly charmed by Zak’s nice, cute, and funny friend. Over the years, Kylee and Jeff became good friends and bonded over their mutual love for outdoor adventures, rock climbing, and endless laughter. With Zak’s approval, the two began dating in 2017 after a camping and rock climbing trip in West Virginia. It didn’t take long for Jeff to know that Kylee was “the one”….

Jeff had been planning the proposal for over a year; same spot, same weekend, same climb…three years later. Jeff and Kylee returned to West Virginia for another camping and rock climbing trip on their third anniversary of dating, and headed straight back to the same climb where they started dating. With the crash pads in place, Kylee started climbing while Jeff sneakily began setting up the camera tripod and preparing the ring. As Kylee made her way down the rock wall, Jeff made his way down on one knee. Jeff popped the question to Kylee and she, of course, said yes! The two spent the rest of the weekend celebrating with a surprise steak dinner prepared by Jeff at the campsite, whitewater rafting down the New River, and sharing the news with family and friends.
