Jack is from Johns Creek, Georgia, and Kylee is from Peachtree City, Georgia, but their story began in Midtown during their freshman year at Georgia Tech. On move-in day, they happened to run into each other at Target — both wearing the exact same shirt. Kylee introduced herself and wished Jack good luck on his first year, not realizing it would be the first chapter of their story. Two years later, their paths crossed again when Kylee’s best friends convinced her to spend more time at the Beta Fraternity house. When Kylee walked through the door, Jack immediately recognized her from that first meeting at Target. They quickly reconnected, and before long it was clear this was more than just a coincidence — it was the beginning of something special.

In December 2025, Jack headed home to Johns Creek for Christmas, and Kylee planned to join him a few days later. While Kylee thought Jack was working on December 22nd, she spent the day with his sisters, Emily and Allie, for lunch and last-minute Christmas shopping in Buckhead—completely unaware of the surprise being planned. Their final “shopping stop” turned out to be the Cator Woolford Gardens in Atlanta. When Kylee looked up to see Jack waiting for her, she was completely surprised. With the gardens as a backdrop, Jack led her to a picnic spot he and his mom had lovingly set up, got down on one knee, and asked Kylee to marry him. She joyfully said yes. After celebrating with photos and a special dinner at Hal’s Steakhouse, the surprises continued. When they arrived back at Jack’s family home, Kylee was greeted by close friends and family for an engagement party. It was a day filled with love, surprises, and unforgettable memories—perfectly marking the start of their next chapter together.
