We’re getting married!

In May 2018, Cody came to a small town by the name of Wellington Kansas to play baseball for Kylee’s dad. The chemistry was immediately there but it seemed that everyone else around us knew we were meant to be together before we did. Let us paint a picture of our first date. For whatever reason we decided to go out to Wellington Lake in the middle of the night. Cody had the grand idea to dance in the sand, Kylee immediately chuckled and said “To what music?”. Without hesitation he pulls out his phone, plays “I don’t dance” by Lee Brice, and before she knew it we were slow dancing, under the moonlight in the sand, with music coming out of his shirt pocket. After a few months of endless laughs and flirting, Cody asked Kylee to be his girlfriend on August 19th, 2018. This was also the date that he told her he loved her for the very first time. From that moment on, our love continued to grow. August 19, 2022 was the date Cody asked Kylee to forever be his, exactly 4 years after his first “I love you”.
