We first met way back in second grade, when Braden remembers meeting “the cute girl from Arizona” who had just joined his class. We grew up in the same friend group from elementary school through middle school. When high school came around, Braden went to Auburn High School while Kylee went to Auburn Mountainview, and we eventually lost contact. Fast forward to COVID, when Braden got bored and decided to start snapping Kylee. Nothing happened at first, Kylee was a little too nervous. During our senior year of high school, Braden finally asked Kylee out on a date to Crumbl Cookie. One Crumbl date turned into another, and by our third date, Braden officially asked Kylee to be his girlfriend. After graduation, we spent two years doing long distance while Kylee went off to the University of Utah and Braden played baseball at Treasure Valley Community College. Two years apart felt like forever, so we decided to transfer together to Central Washington University. After one year living life together in Ellensburg, Braden finally got down on one knee. Now we are here, planning our wedding and excited for what’s next.
