Andrew and Kylee were both juniors at Penn State. Kylee had just moved into her new apartment off-campus and her roommates invited a few people over before the first game of the season. One of those people, was Andrew. They met and talked for a few minutes, finding out that Andrew lived in the same apartment building and one floor above Kylee. Shortly after this encounter, Kylee and Andrew started dating different people. The rest of the year was filled with casual waves on the way to class, and the occasional hello when they ran into each other at tailgates with mutual friends.

2019

Answer

Andrew accepts a job offer with KPMG out of their New York City office. Kylee had an offer from Ralph Lauren in New York City and Lockheed Martin in Washington DC. They run into each other at a tailgate before the Blue and White game and talk about their plans after graduation. Andrew later sends Kylee a text asking her to let him know if she ends up taking the job in New York, and that it would be nice to have a friendly face there. One month later, Kylee accepts the job with Lockheed and moves to Arlington, Virginia. Andrew starts his job at KPMG and is living at home in New Jersey.

Answer

Covid hits, and Kylee and Andrew find themselves both working remotely. With this newfound flexibility, Andrew begins to visit friends in other cities and thinks about the idea of moving to one of them. On December 31, Andrew visits his friend Walt in Arlington for a New Year's Eve party. On December 31, Kylee goes to Spider Kelly's bar in Arlington for a New Year's Eve celebration with her friend Sarah. They were supposed to meet up with some other friends, but the other friends never arrive. Kylee and Sarah decide to go to a party at their friend Walt's apartment instead. From the minute Kylee and Andrew saw each other at the party that night, they talked the entire time and didn't leave each other's side.

2021

Answer

Andrew moves to Arlington in July to live with his friends in a townhouse in Ballston. He and Kylee start to text each other regularly and hang out with the same group of friends. In October, Andrew asks Kylee out on their first date to have dinner at Tupelo Honey and go see the movie "Halloween" (even though neither of them like scary movies). They continue seeing each other and make goals to watch all of the Harry Potter movies, find the best burger in Northern VA, and visit at least 1 museum per month. Although they were both interested in all of these things, what they liked most about these goals was the guarantee of seeing each other again.

Answer

On January 8, Kylee and Andrew go into Washington DC to see the monuments at night and Andrew (finally) asks Kylee to be his girlfriend. They spend the next two years making lasting memories in Arlington, traveling, and getting welcomed into each other's families.

2024

Answer

Kylee and Andrew decide to move in together, and begin looking at places to be closer to their families. They soon fall in love with a townhouse in Pennsylvania because of its fenced-in backyard covered by trees. On New Year's Eve, they pick up their dog Sadie and become a family of three.

On July 3rd, Kylee gets home to find Andrew in that very backyard that first caught their eyes, now framed with candles and rose pedals. He asked her to be his wife (spoiler- she said yes!) and they are happily planning their wedding while getting ready for this next chapter of life together.
