We met when I was re-homing my sweet bearded dragon to a coworker of my stepdad’s. I walked into the sales office of a car lot and couldn’t help but notice him. The next day, my stepdad "casually" mentioned that I thought he was cute—and, lo and behold, a Facebook friend request appeared. That first time around, things never quite lined up. But months later, when we started working together, I couldn’t help but become completely smitten. He likes to say I ghosted him that first time, but I like to say I was waiting for the right time.
