Winchester is just an hour and a half from DC! We love getting our steps in and viewing all the monuments and museums. There's tons to do and great food in the area, plus you might be able to catch a ball game or concert.
New River Valley

Stop by Blacksburg, VA to visit our alma mater, Virginia Tech! On your way there, drive through the Shenandoah Valley and witness the beautiful mountain views. There's plenty of hikes and sites to see. Just down the road in Roanoke, find some good eats and drive up to the Roanoke star - one of our favorite date spots!
