Question

But, what do I wear?

Answer

We're going pretty casual. It's going to be outside, we're encouraging game play, and there's the weather. We're not asking for you to wear anything fancy. Also, there will be grass and dirt. If it rains then there is wet grass and dirt (sometimes referred to as mud). Please take this into account when choosing dress/skirt/pant length and shoes. High heels are probably a good thing to avoid.

You said on the homepage to bring an instrument. Did you really mean that?

Answer

Yes. You don't have to, but we figure that if we encourage you to bring a guitar and play, then you can do the job of creating a nice atmosphere for us. The trick is not to let you know that we're making you work at our wedding for some dinner. Shhhhh.

So I have a tiny human I'm responsible for....

Answer

You are welcome to bring your kids along! (Of course, if you are using our wedding as an excuse for a night out, we understand, and will only glare at you when you aren't paying attention). We will have kid appropriate plates, but we recommend bringing whatever variety of cup your tiny human may require. After all, we're pretty confident we can find parental approved plates, but cups...we're not experienced enough for that responsibility.

Did you get a Hotel block?

Answer

Yes! Just mention the Johnson/Downs wedding to get a discount! Also, make sure you reserve before May 8th, because after that, our negotiating skills for room rates are invalid. (For those unlucky chosen ones we demanded arrive Friday, we have extending a few rooms to cover that, so make sure you get the discount for both nights).

I only see one address written anywhere.

Answer

Yes! That's because both ceremony and reception will be at the same place. There will be free parking as well as signs (or people) to help you get where you should be.

Yes! We have PARKING!!! It's free! And no parallel parking skills required. Probably.
