We're so excited to celebrate with you!

In August 2014, Kyle was going through Coding Bootcamp, while Vanessa was working for a recruitment agency in San Francisco. Although both of us grew up in Stockton, neither of us had met one another until we both were living in San Francisco. One night, Vanessa's company was hosting an office party. Her boss at the time, happened to be one of Kyle's best friends, and he somehow convinced Kyle to attend the office party. Unfortunately for Kyle, when he was talked into this event, he was told by his friend that he had a change of clothes for him to wear, as Kyle was coming from his school and was underdressed for the occasion. However, this turned out to be a ruse to get Kyle to attend. Fortunately for Vanessa, this trick worked and Kyle came to the party and this is where the two of them met. They spent the night conversing, getting to know each other, and then went their separate ways. But both of them knew there was something special about the other. After a few weeks, and some misconstrued text conversations, the two of them reconnected one night at Kyle's favorite bar in San Francisco, Shanghai Kelly's and the rest is history. 7 years, a few new apartments, long distance, buying a house, a career change for Vanessa and a golden-doodle (Mookie) later and we are so excited to celebrate our big day with all of our closest friends and family and looking forward to the next chapter in our relationship together! Thank you to everyone who has been part of our lives, and relationship - We wouldn't want to celebrate this special day with anyone else!
