Set within the small hamlet of Madehurst, high up on the South Downs, it's about a 15 minute drive from Goodwood.

Flight

Flight Details

There are a number of airlines that fly direct from New York to London Heathrow or London Gatwick - British Airways, United, Delta, American Airlines, Virgin and Norse. For those traveling directly from the airport, the most convenient way would be to drive from either Gatwick or Heathrow, both are about 1 hour & 15 minutes by car.

USA Travellers

For those flying from the USA, the UK now requires an ETA Visa. This can take 72 hours to come through, so make sure you apply with enough time before your flight. The easiest and cheapest way to complete the application is by downloading the App "UK ETA" - it should cost $12 and lasts for 3 years.

Train

Southern Train

For those already in London, the best way to travel is by direct train from London Victoria train station to Chichester station (10 minutes from Goodwood) via the Southern Train line. You will then need to book a taxi to your hotel from there.

Travel Note

Ubers, Taxis or Rentals

Taxis and Ubers are limited in the area, so if you are going to tour Sussex for a few days then we'd advise a rental car from the airport. However, if you are just going to travel between Goodwood and nearby areas, then local taxis/Ubers will suffice.
