FAQs

Hi all! We've got a few things to let you know!
Question

Where do we park?

Answer

Parking is a little limited so please park conservatively and carpool if possible. Please DO NOT park in the main roundabout parking lot. We need to leave this open for public access. There are lots of little spaces to park on Bear Creek Rd. & a few spaces off the side of the road on Meadow Brook Rd. We will place parking signs in the main designated areas but basically, if there is space for your car, you are okay to park. If you have a truck, take the parking spots that require a taller clearance, there are quite a few spaces that only trucks will work. Please leave the closer parking spots for families with babies and the elderly. If you are planning on staying late with us, please pull forward in your parking space so someone can park behind you. Thank you for getting creative with us! I know it's a little inconvenient without a big parking lot! There is an overflow parking lot on the corner of HWY 193 and Black Oak Mine Rd. It's a 4 minute drive to the venue. We will have helpers that can shuttle from that parking lot if necessary. Drop your family off at the front and be sure to communicate that you need a pickup!

Question

Can we explore?

Answer

Of course! It is a beautiful and historic land with some easy trails. There are lots of endangered and native botanicals that we want to preserve, so we ask that you stay on the trails and avoid harming the creatures that live here. We acquired a permit for this event and it was important to the forest service that we respect this space.
