Most of our lives we spent just barely missing the others paths. Which lead us to finally letting, as it so happens to seem not, at exactly the right time. Going into the first night we ever spent together neither of us was looking for a life long commitment. That first night was spent awake all night talking about both of our lives, seeing where they crossed and when they may have if we’d ended up doing things only a little bit differently. From that night forward we were very close, we spent a lot of time together and learned more about each other. We went on to have our son when we still were very newly together, having him brought a long a lot of growth for the two of us. At times apart, but mostly we grew together. We learned more than we ever expected. As a team we battled things neither one of us were prepared for. We held each other up and pushed each other forward. Just as we still do, and always will. Our love is messy, our love is hard sometimes, our love is real, our love is growing, and our love is endless.
