Things To Do

Old Town Newhall

Old Town Newhall

24275 Main Street, Newhall, CA 91321

Old Town Newhall is Santa Clarita's historic district. Here you'll find some good bars and restaurants. Be sure to check out 8th & Rail, Newhall Refinery, Smokehouse, and Old Town Junction.

The Patios at Valencia Town Center

The Patios at Valencia Town Center

24201 Valencia Boulevard, Valencia, CA 91355

The Patios is a good place to find a variety of food and beverage options. It's relatively close to the hotel locations. We like Lazy Dog, Bunker Hill, and Lucille's.

Saugus Cafe

Saugus Cafe

25861 Railroad Avenue, Saugus, CA 91355

Saugus Cafe is Kyle's favorite breakfast place. It reminds him of his grandfather, Delmar, who loved a good cafe. Also, Saugus Cafe has been in operation for over 130 years and is the oldest restaurant in LA county -- Teddy Roosevelt ate here (history things!)

William S. Hart Park

William S. Hart Park

24151 Newhall Avenue, Newhall, CA 91321

This is the old ranch home of Bill Hart, one of the greatest Western stars of the silent film era. You can tour his home, view his extensive Native American art collection, and check out the buffalo that are descents of his original herd.

Towsley Canyon Hiking Trails

Towsley Canyon Hiking Trails

24335 The Old Road, Newhall, CA 91321

Towsley Canyon is a peaceful local park with a charming creek known for its hiking trails, gorge, and scenic views. There are multiple trail options, the longest spanning 5 miles. At the peak, you'll see the BEST view of Santa Clarita.

Vista Valencia Golf Course

Vista Valencia Golf Course

24700 Trevino, Valencia, CA 91355

Vista Valencia is the closest public golf course in town. There are 27 holes available - a traditional 18 hole course and a 9 hole par 3.

Six Flags Magic Mountain

Six Flags Magic Mountain

26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia, 91355

Magic Mountain is the Santa Clarita landmark that everyone knows. It also served as the filming location for Wally World in Vacation! 262 acres of theme park fun. Check out the roller coasters, sure... but definitely don't leave without getting a funnel cake.
