Typhoon Texas Waterpark
Typhoon Texas is a fantastic waterpark that has just about anything you can think of. It's a lot of fun. Tip: Don't take any food in with you. They will make you go put it back in your car.
Splashway Water Park
Splashway is a Sadler family favorite waterpark. It is an hour and a half away from Katy but it is a family-friendly waterpark that lets you bring in food. This is a fantastic place to take your children!
Texas Traditions Restaurants
This is Kyle and Sarah's favorite restaurant in Katy. It looks like a hole in the wall, and it is, but it has some of the best food you can get. Get the steak finger basket and try their AWESOME mac and cheese!
Los Cucos
Looking for the legendary TexMex food? Stop here and get the fajita platter. It's Kyles's absolute favorite! Don't forget to get an order of Queso!
Houston Zoo
The Houston Zoo is an absolute favorite of Kyle and Sarah's. There are a ton of animals to see and a great place to take your family. You can bring food in but you need to keep track of it the whole time you're there. Go check out Kyle and Sarah's favorite exhibit, the river otters, in the children's section. It's where Kyle proposed to Sarah!
Houston Museum of Natural Science
The Museum of Natural Science is a great museum with all sorts of exhibits. The museum has regular history and science exhibits as well as a theater, and a butterfly garden. Although the best part is the dinosaur exhibit, it's Kyle's favorite!
Blue Bell Creamery
You should definitely go here. It is about 50 minutes to an hour west of Katy and it is the best ice cream ever! You can get huge cups of ice cream for $1!
Magnolia Market
This is the address for Chip and Joanne Gaines shops. Their businesses include the market silos, their bakery, and restaurant.
Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute
For all you Dr. Pepper lovers out there, check out the Dr. Pepper Factory in Waco. Go to the silos and then make a trip over to the factory! Kyle and Sarah have heard you can sample numerous flavors!
