Maymont
When it's beautiful outside and we have the day to ourselves we love going to Maymont! It is a park located outside of Carytown in Richmond, VA that is about 3 miles total. It includes a nature center, a farm, some other wild animals, a historic mansion, and beautiful Japanese and Italian Gardens. It is the best on warm spring days when all of their flowers and plants are in full bloom and the waterfalls are all running. The best part about this park is that it is free!
Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is a beautiful place to walk around and look at some of the most beautiful artwork in the world. It is also free! They also always have things going on Friday nights and each week they have a "Friday Art and Wine" happy hour that is super relaxing and fun!
